Introduction:

It's so insane to think that a young girl 17-19, was just sitting in her room making beats, only for a few years later, becoming the first EVER woman to be named producer of the year!?

Brief Background

If you don't know who I'm talking about, Victoria Walker, also known as PinkPanthress, is a song producer and singer, well known in the Alternative pop/ Electric R&B music genre. Her first well-known album, Hell With It (late 2021), and other unreleased singles [popularized on social media], brought the once hidden artist to the spotlight she's in today.

Her recent Album, Fancy That (2025), and her Remix album (Fancy Some More) [Zara Larsson ft. Stateside] Has Spiked her fame to the stars! It is impossible not to have heard a snippet of her music on the internet.

Why Am I Bringing This Up?

Good question. Honestly, for the sake of honoring her great achievement.

I don't listen to music as much. It's hard to find the right genre, and I am very picky with what I enjoy. hence why.

Artists who experiment, like Pharrell Williams, Solange, Sade, and many others. Though I cherish and love listening to these artists, something about Pink's music— maybe the "modernistic" tempo intrigues me. If that makes sense?

When I discovered Pink in 2021, I was in middle school. Since then, I've stuck with her music. It looks like I wasn't the only person who agreed that she her unique specialty is so different from the rest.

Why do I like her so much?

Her storytelling in her songs. She also didn't curse in her early albums, and rarely goes that route when she makes music. (I could listen to her music around my parents)
Her Production of course, Pink likes to try out different sounds in her music; every sound is recognizable yet new for the listener.
Her Album covers, and Public Apearence looks. She reminds me of a rinch auntie straight from 2004 sometimes.
Last, Her Personality. She seems so humble with her work and very passionate about perfection. She takes her fans to heart while having a sense of humor. Her aura, at most, is what I want to carry.

Celebratory News

PinkPanthress is the FIRST WOMAN to ever be rewarded "Producer Of The Year". Not ONLY is she getting big, but she is making history; it's even more impressive that it's happened during Black History Month.

Conclusion

I've always wanted to talk about Pink; now is more than the perfect time. I'm inspired by her growth and authenticity that shines out and beyond music. I'm so excited for what more she has to share and will continue to support her, just as when I listened to her 𝖘𝖑𝖔𝖜𝖊𝖉 & 𝖗𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖇 music since day one. To Nichie?
