I’m Coding A Personal Website :)

“Yes, with Wix, creating a website is completely free. You can design your site, publish it, and share it with the world without spending a dime.”
Introduction:
I’ve been using WIX.com to create many websites when friends or family ask me for some help with their businesses. In fact, I am using WIX to create my blog site as well. The only problem with this is that wide-ranging benefits cost money. I don’t have the money to upgrade, and I especially don’t want to pay $119.00 every two years for a fully functioning website.

Background:
Wix’s photo storage is limited because I am using the free plan. I was able to clear out most of the photos I’m not currently using… but what happens when it becomes impossible to the point where I am forced to buy a plan? I want a platform without worrying about spending “hard-earned” cash.
Full-Circle:
The normalization of subscriptions needs to be studied. Listening to music, watching movies at home, driving a modern car…literally everything that used to [and should only be] paid for has a subscription. I don’t want to delve into this since that’ll be a discussion for another time.
To cut a long story short, I’m making a site from scratch.
This is what I have so far::

Conclusion:

I don’t really have an outro. Just here to complain…so to end here, I’ll say, making websites used to be a big thing in the early days of the internet. Even with limited tools, creativity always stood out. Now, the website is basic and sort of boring. Not only that, but built-in domains “claim” to be free but limit users’ ability to be innovative.
People have forgot making websites doesn’t require a subscription or any creative activity at all— there shouldn’t be a limit to making things (unless it’s reasonable). Especially when there are better tools, tutorials, and apps that can avoid the spending.
I might touch more on this topic, but that’s all for now. Thank you!
**Author’s Note:
There isn’t space to put this in here, but I saw this thing on TikTok called a “cyberdeck.” If I can master this whole coding thing, I’m gonna try to make one next. If anyone cares, lol.
But seriously, you can really master anything by using YouTube and other free platforms. You should not be spending money like that.
((Day one, two, three and, four are out!))
Anyway, thank you for reading!
:)
**Update while editing: looks like my original document is TERMINATED, so I'll make a new one with updates. It'll take some time, but you'll find the link in this article. Give me some time, sorry :,)
